ROV Locates Downed Fighter Jet

A VideoRay ROV was used to locate a downed fighter jet off Hawaii just after Christmas. The fighter jet was participating in the Hawaii Air National Guard sponsored training exercise Sentry Aloha on Dec 12, 2018 when the pilot ejected and the plane crashed into the ocean. The pilot was rescued by the Coast Guard and some Good Samaritans, and the plane was later found on Dec 30, 2018.

ROV Deep Exploration off QLD Coast

ROV exploration at depths of 800m off the coast of Queensland revealed surprising living fossils and strange life forms. Amazing discoveries like a sea lily, nautilus, sea toad, and others, thanks to funding by the Centre for Marine Environmental Sciences (MARUM) at the University of Bremen in Germany.
