QYSEA unveiled their new Fifish V6+ and W6 underwater vehicles at CES 2020 in Las Vegas this month. The V6+ uses less power than the V6 but has added features like collision avoidance, distance lock, imaging sonar, an underwater positioning system, brighter lighting, and a higher depth rating. We look forward to seeing it soon!

Very exciting to see a BlueROV2 in Antarctica!
Another interesting use of ROVs: Helix Robotics Solutions will be using ROVs to search for unexploded ordnance (UXO) and boulders at the site of the 450MW offshore wind farm, Neart na Gaoithe, off the coast of Scotland.

We were so incredibly excited to send video LIVE from a BlueROV2 underwater in Sydney (Pittwater and Manly) to Sydney’s Westmead Hospital and The Queensland’s Children’s Hospital Starlight Express Rooms for the Starlight Children’s Foundation Australia. It was AWESOME to bring such a unique and exciting collaborative experience to children who couldn’t otherwise go snorkel or explore themselves.
